In the early 2000s, after years in the residential construction world, I saw a pattern I couldn’t ignore: homeowners were treated like transactions, not people. Builders pushed cookie-cutter plans, cut corners to meet quotas, and rarely listened to what families actually wanted in their homes. That didn’t sit right with me.
So in 2005, I took a leap of faith and founded Comerio Homes with one goal—to do things differently. I wanted to build homes that felt personal, meaningful, and lasting. Homes that didn’t just meet a budget, but met a family’s lifestyle, vision, and future. I wanted to create a process that was honest, guided, and enjoyable—because building a home shouldn’t be stressful. It should feel exciting and empowering.
That mission has never changed. Over the past two decades, we’ve guided hundreds of families through a building experience that prioritizes clarity over confusion, personalization over pressure, and relationships over revenue.
We’ve grown, sure—but I’m still hands-on. I still walk jobsites, meet with buyers, and make sure the homes we build reflect the care and integrity I started with.
